Joonas Kyöstilä is a New York-based designer and entrepreneur from Finland.
Joonas is the Head of Industrial Design at FFORA, joining as the first hire in 2018 after working at high-end medical devices company and for several design offices. At FFORA, he’s been responsible for building the company’s first physical product portfolio from scratch. Joonas is also a co-founder of an early stage children’s products company Mooki Mello.
Joonas studied industrial design at the Aalto University (BA) in Helsinki and at Parsons School of Design in New York (MFA).
Joonas Kyöstilä has participated in international exhibitions such as Time Square Design Pavilion 2019 and a touring 'Design Futures' Exhibition 2019-2020. His work is in the permanent collections of Philadelphia Museum of the Arts, Henry Ford Museum and Chicago Atheneum.
